Nutrition classes held at food bank
Subsistence Eating on the Kenai nutrition classes are being offered for free from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, for eight weeks at Kenai Peninsula Food Bank, 33955 Community College Drive in Soldotna.
Participants who attend four classes may enter to win a prize. Colleen Sonnevil of the Cooperative Extension Services will instruct the class. For more information, call 262-3111.
Safe Sitter courses offered
Central Peninsula General Hospital will hold a Safe Sitter course from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the hospital. Senior center to celebrate anniversary
