ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Anchorage police were investigating the theft of 48 iMac computers from East High School valued at $55,000.

Investigators have traced at least some of the thefts to a man working for a company that was upgrading the school's power and data lines, police said.

Jason Bonner, 29, used a master key to get into a room where computers were stored, police said.

Workers reported seeing Bonner carrying large black bags from the school to his car. Police found four computers in his car.

Bonner was arrested Wednesday at a residence. He was being held at Cook Inlet Pre-trial Facility on $25,000 bail.

Police have, so far, recovered five of the computers.
