Madelyn Olson of Soldotna and Brian Olack of Reno, Nev., were married Saturday, April 26, 2003, at Saint Luke's Lutheran Church in Reno. Pastor Mike Benke officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Kurt and Barbara Olson of Soldotna. She graduated from Cook Inlet Academy in 1998 and the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2002 with a degree in sociology. She works in a human resources position.
The groom is the son of Roger and Elizabeth Olack of Reno. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 and the University of Nevada's school of medicine in 2003. He works at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass., on a surgical residency.
The bride wore a white gown with a beaded bodice and full tulle skirt and carried spring flowers.
Valerie Olson, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Danielle Rhoads, Brenna McGoldrick and Amanda Gresko. The flower girl was Taylor Borelli.
Brian Barnes was the best man, and John Watson, Scott Scherr and Matthew New were the groom's attendants.
The bride's father walked her down the aisle. The couple's aunts and uncles on both sides of the family attended the wedding from California, Maryland and Virginia.
A luncheon reception was held at Bartley Ranch in Reno. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and will live in Springfield, Mass.
