Performance was positively medieval

You have a wonderful group over on that side of the peninsula. The Kenai Peninsula branch of the Society of Creative Anachronisms, the Shire of Hrafnsfjordr, recently traveled all the way over to Seward to appear at the final program of the Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds children's summer reading club.

What a great group! The SCA members rearranged their working schedules to perform gratis at this function. Several of the members donned heavy armor on a warm day to demonstrate combat in medieval times. Of course, the Seward adults and children at the program were thrilled with the performance.

For any of you who are interested in contacting the group, contact Breezy Stevens at 262-2451.

Thanks again dear knights, squires and ladies.
