Addictions group meets

Reformers Unanimous, a Christ-centered addictions program, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at Immanuel Baptist Church. For more information, call 283-9361.

Clothes closet opens

The First Baptist Church in Soldotna will offer free clothing from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays in the garage at 119 Little St., off of Binkley.

Clothes available

Clothes Quarters is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. It is in the back of the parking lot of Our Lady of the Angels Church at 225 S. Spruce St. in Kenai.

Fall Bible classes begin

The Kenai Christian Church will begin registration for its fall Bible classes on Sunday. Classes will begin Sept. 7. Child care for preschool children will be available. For more information or a list of classes, call 283-4559.

VBS set for Sterling

The Sterling Lutheran Church will hold vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Aug. 11 at the church ,across the street from the Sterling Elementary School playground. Children age 4 through grades six may attend. Assistants also are needed. For more information, call Jim Person at 262-5359.

VBS to mine for God’s word

The Soldotna Baptist Church will host vacation Bible school from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday thorugh Aug. 11 at 223 East Redoubt Avenue. The theme will be “Mining for Wisdom.” Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to attend. For more information, call 262-4618.
