Finch, Gourley wed in Sterling

Kimberly D. Finch and Calvin R. Gourley, both of Kenai, were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2001, at the home of Steve and Mary Mussman at St. Theresa's Camp in Sterling. Dennis "Bean" Lacey officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Anita Finch of Sterling. She wore a ivory gown and carried lavender and white daisies and miniature roses.

Her maid of honor was Kay Giles. She wore a lavender flowered gown and carried lavender and white daisies. The flower girls were Kelsey Effenbeck, daughter of the bride, and Skylynne Nunley, granddaughter of the groom. They wore matching white, lavender and pink dresses.

The groom is the son of Lola Cress of Kenai and Ted and Jenny Gourley of Tacoma, Wash.

The best man was Ron Engerbretson, brother of the groom. The ring barer was Jarred Effenbeck, son of the bride.

A reception was held at St. Theresa's Camp.

Kimberly is a 1984 graduate of Soldotna High School.

Calvin is employed at Unocal.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Jamaica in December.

They live in the Soldotna-Kenai area.

Weddings must be submitted within six months to be printed.
