ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Anchorage police said Monday they were concerned about the health of an Anchorage mother and her son, who have been missing for more than a week.

Patricia King, 36, suffers from depression, while her son, William King, who is almost 8, has asthma, said police spokeswoman Marlene Lammers.

The woman and the boy take medication regularly, police said.

King and her son were last seen July 28 in Midtown Anchorage, police said. King's mother reported them missing.

The precise time and place of their last known appearance were unavailable, Lammers said.

King may be driving a 1997 silver and blue GMC pickup with an extended cab, Lammers said. What she and the boy were wearing when last seen was unknown, she said.

Police urged people to call if they have information about the pair.
