Earthquake rattles Southcentral Alaska

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Southcentral residents from Seward to Palmer felt an earthquake shortly before noon Wednesday.

According to the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center, the magnitude 4.7 quake was centered about 25 miles northwest of Anchorage. It was recorded at 11:53 a.m.

The Tsunami Warning Center received no reports of damage or injuries.
