Sept. 11, 2001 survivor to speak here

Peninsula Christian Center invites all to hear Dawn Robinson, a 9/11 survivor, at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Robinson will share her experience from that infamous day. Her office was on the 61st floor of the World Trade Center Tower Two. God has shown himself in his incredible protection and guidance as Robinson escaped death, she says. She is a member of the five-time Grammy award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, ministering in song and testimony. She has been a featured guest on the "700 Club" with Pat Robertson and on "Focus on the Family" with Dr. James Dobson.

Firefighters, police officers and paramedics especially are invited to attend and hear her incredible story. Peninsula Christian Center is at 161 Farnsworth, off the Kenai Spur Highway in Soldotna behind The Salvation Army Store.

'Xtreme' Bible school slated

Children are invited to join the "Xtreme Adventure" vacation Bible school from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Aug. 13 at Soldotna Church of the Nazarene.

The school, at 229 East Beluga St., is for children from 3 years old to sixth grade. For more information, call 262-4660.

Fall Bible study schedule announced

The women's ministry of Kenai Christian Church has announced its 2004 Bible study classes for the fall.

Already under way are Wednesday evening classes titled, "Lord, I want to know you," by Kay Arthur.

Beginning Sept. 9 from 9 to 11:30 a.m., the group plans "Precept Upon Precept, I Corinthians, part 1;" "Fresh Start My new identity in Christ;" and "Believing God, Part 1" a Beth Moore study.

Beginning Sept. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. will be, "Precept Upon Precept, I Corinthians, part 1;" "Believing God, Part 1" a Beth Moore study; and "First Place Seeking God's best."

Beginning Sept. 11 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. will be "Believing God," a Beth Moore study.

Child care is available for infant to kindergarten-age children. The deadline for required registration is Aug. 18.

Family worship offered Thursdays

Peninsula Grace Brethren Church on Kalifornsky Beach Road offers "The River at Grace" worship experience for the whole family Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

All are welcome to the informal worship meetings.
