Two others were injured in the accident.

The initial collision was between a truck pulling a trailer and a sedan. The two killed were in the sedan, as was one of those who were injured.

A two-mile stretch of highway has been closed until about 5 p.m. today. Vehicles heading south are being turned around at Potter Marsh by Anchorage police.
