The Madison String Quartet finishes a piece of music Thursday at Charlotte's Restaurant in Kenai during one of the free noontime concerts associated with the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra's Summer Music Festival. Evelyn Esava, Gabriela Rengel, Gerall Hieser and Michael Avagliano entertained a standing-room-only audience with music ranging from Mozart to Coldplay. There will be musical performances on the central Peninsula and in Homer daily, culminating with the orchestra's Gala Concert on Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Renee C. Henderson Auditorium.
