Alyeska school open and ready for upcoming school year

Posted: Friday, August 08, 2003

As the state is not allowing them to advertise, Alyeska Central Parents are trying to get the word out that yes, they are still in operation, and accepting enrollment applications.

Same great, successful program, fully accredited, fully staffed with certified teachers K-12.

It has just had one more student added to the long list of graduates going to top college and universities this time to Stanford to join several other present graduates one of whom received a full academic scholarship. Others have gone to Princeton, Harvard, etc. Alyeska's education standard is well known by universities and colleges nationwide. Their students are well prepared to step into college, ready to go.

If interested, parents should call 1-888-290-3752 or write:

Alyeska Central School

3141 Channel Drive Ste 100

Juneau, AK 99801

Alyeska is in the process of transitioning to a charter correspondence school, which would remain available to all students statewide. Luckily the Legislature recognized Alyeska's importance and gave them the time to make this transition instead of closing as the governor attempted under false pretenses.
