Conference set for praise

Kalifonsky Christian Center will hold a free youth and young adult conference for youth ages 13 through 30 at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday through Aug. 15. For more information, call 283-9452.

Kids activities offered

First Baptist Church of Nikiski on the corner of Kenai Spur Highway and Island Lake Road offers a Kids Club from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays. Children in grades one through six may attend. Echo Lake Bible study ongoing

Nikiski Aglow meets at 10 a.m. Wednesdays at North Star United Methodist Church at Mile 25.5 of the Kenai Spur Highway. Women may attend Bible study, prayer and worship.

The Clothes Quarters is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays at 225 S. Spruce St. behind Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Kenai. The store sells clothes and free trade coffee.

Clothes 4 U Ministry offers free clothing to benefit the community from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at First Baptist Church Soldotna Mission House at 119 Little Ave. in Soldotna. For more information, call Lily at 260-4806.

Nikiski Bible study under way

Nikiski Nazarene Ladies offers the Beth Moore Bible study, Living Beyond Yourself, from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays. Women and teen girls may attend. For more information, call 776-8022 or 776-5421.

Grief support group to meet

Soldotna United Methodist Church conducts a life, love and loss support group from noon to 1 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of the month at the church at 158 S. Binkley St. Any type of loss is open for discussion in the group.

Revival slated

The Sterling Baptist Church will hold a revival for a spiritual renewal, a re-awakening of faith and a period of renewed religious interest Aug. 24 Sunday services and at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 through 29 at the church at Mile 83.4 of the Sterling Highway. Women's Bible study will begin

Kenai Christian Church will begin its women's Bible studies will be held in the morning and evening Thursdays and in the morning Saturdays beginning Aug. 28.

Sign up for the studies and child care will be Aug. 17 and 24. Child care is available for preregistered children (preschool age and younger) for Thursdays only. For more information, call the church office at 283-4559 Mondays through Fridays 9 a.m. to noon.
