ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A Valdez methamphetamine lab was shut down Thursday, Alaska State Troopers said.
Investigators said they discovered a commercial-sized meth lab at the home of David Dibble, 39.
Dibble was arrested and has been charged with a single count of misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was being held at the Valdez jail on $10,000 bail.
Investigators said it appeared the lab had been in operation for several years and may have produced thousands of grams of methamphetamine.
Dozens of containers of chemicals, glassware and other laboratory equipment were seized, troopers said.
