Speaker scheduled at MS luncheon

Guided nature walk planned
The Kenai Watershed Forum presents a free willow identification walk with area naturalist and author of several willow guides, Dominique Collet, today at 1 p.m. Some agility is required due to stairs along the trail. Low-cost spay/neuter clinic slated
The Alaska Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will hold its Low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic Aug. 17-20.
Low-cost vaccinations are available Aug. 17, 18, and 19 from noon to 4 p.m. No appointments are necessary for vaccinations. To schedule a surgery appointment, or for more information, call Nancy Wall at 262-1624.
New allergy group to meet
The Peninsula Allergy Network, a newly formed support group, will meet today at Bridges in Soldotna at 6:30 p.m. Interested persons are encouraged to participate in sharing their allergy stories, recipes and needs. Scalzi to speak at public meeting
Rep. Drew Scalzi, R-Homer, and Deputy Commissioner Larry Persily of the Alaska Department of Revenue will speak today at 6 p.m. at the Land's End Resort in Homer.
