Tuluksak man charged with attempted kidnapping

BETHEL (AP) -- A Tuluksak man was charged Tuesday with attempted kidnapping.

Alaska State Troopers said Adolph Lott, 26, was taken into custody by Tuluksak police.

Police received a report that Lott had followed a juvenile girl, made sexual advances toward her and tried to drag her to his home.

Lott was held by police on a charge of public intoxication until troopers arrived. He was charged with attempted kidnapping, assault and harassment.

Tuluksak is community of more than 400 on the south bank of the Tuluksak River at its junction with the Kuskokwim River 35 miles northeast of Bethel.
