A child who has turned 5 before Aug. 15 may be admitted to kindergarten. A child who turns 6 before Aug. 15 may be admitted to first grade.
Proof of age is a requirement of all enrolling students.
The school board may admit students under school age who exhibit the ability to perform satisfactorily at the proposed grade level.
Students younger than required school age, who were previously enrolled in public school, shall be admitted to school at the grade level determined by the superintendent or someone designated by the superintendent.
