Soldotna library events successful because of many
We'd like to thank all the children, parents and volunteers who helped make Soldotna Public Library's summer reading program a "creative" success this year. Thank you to Connie Goltz for sharing her artwork, photos and continued support, Friday activity volunteers: Mick Audette, Jenni Larsen, Ginger DeMoss, Melissa Nill and members of the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra. Other volunteers included Jeanette and Mae Pedginski, Sara Hondel, Judy Schmidt and Katja Wolfe.

The summer fishing season has been an active one for many anglers, but far too often this year it has been more than salmon that got snagged accidentally.
