The 38th Annual Peninsula Amateur Tournament held July 30-31 at the Birch Ridge Golf Course was a great success. Birch Ridge Golf Association would like to thank the many people and businesses that contributed to a memorable tournament this year.

Thank you to the crew at Birch Ridge Golf course for a wonderful venue, and Pat and Myrna Cowan for their support with the fabulous door prizes. Sincere thanks to the hole sponsors: Gary's Auto Electric, Ryan Kapp at Edward Jones, Mike Chenault, Sweeney's, Central Alaska Engineering, Freedom Realty, Danlin Construction, G & S Construction, Soldotna Professional Pharmacy, The Duck Inn, Kenai River Lodge and First National Bank of Alaska. Special thanks go to title sponsors Lisa Parker and Steve Horn of Parker Horn Company for their very generous sponsorship as well as the tasty BBQ at the end of the tournament catered by Steve himself.

A tournament cannot happen with out volunteers, and our deepest thanks go to them, starting with BRGA board members Linda Murphy and Sharon Keeting who spent countless hours on the tournament. Last but by no means least, Nolan Rose and Jesse Waltemyer who brought the vision and energy to pull everything together. Your unflagging effort was much appreciated.
