High school sweethearts wed in Arizona

Gina Cuseo of Kasilof and Scott Smith of Soldotna were married Sunday, April 22, 2001, in the garden at the Satisfied Frog Chapel in Cavecreek, Ariz. Pastor Donald Doe officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Carol Joyce and stepfather Wayne Mossberg of Clam Gulch and Carl Cuseo of Puerto Rico. The bride was given away by her father.

Her maid of honor was Emily Cuseo. The bridesmaids were Regina Daniels, Gabrielle Marshall and Angelea Smith. They wore periwinkle gowns. The flower girl was Veronica Mossberg.

The groom is the son of Maria and Ted Smith of Soldotna.

The best man was Rustin Smith. The groomsmen were Nick Cuseo, Darren Wusich and Jon Montgomery.

A reception followed the ceremony with an outdoor barbecue buffet and live music. The bride's father accompanied the band on saxophone to honor the couple.

More than 100 guests from various states attended the wedding, including grandmothers Barbara Sobczuk of Deer Park, Wash., and Isabel Cuseo of Port St. Lucie, Fla.

The newlyweds honeymooned in San Diego. They live in Arizona.
