Sheena Wells and Ray Keith of Hawaii and Alaska were married in an evening ceremony Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska in Kenai. The bride's grandfather, Dan Clausen, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Sherrye Trotter of Panama City, Fla., and John Trotter of Soldotna. Sheena works as a volunteer at Rainbow Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kurtistown, Hawaii. She is a 2000 graduate of Skyview High School. For her ceremony, Sheena wore a simple yet elegant gown by Mori Lee. She carried a bouquet that she and her sister made with flowers ordered through the Internet. Sheena was escorted down the isle by her brother, Ole Cuaresma.
The groom is the son of Gene and Gail Keith of Kenai. He is a 1993 graduate of GlennAllen High School. Ray is employed as an operating engineer.
The bride's sister, Melissa Trotter, was the maid of honor. Krystal Friedly, Felicia Jones, Christina Otto and Sissy Bird were the bridesmaids. They wore knee-length pink gowns with black trim and carried hand-made bouquets, designed by the bride and her sister.
Jason Billman was the best man. Dustin Martin, Chad Keith, Mike Keith and Pat Keith were the groomsmen. John Pickle and Louie Corona were the ushers.
Honored guests flew in from the Netherlands, New Mexico, Florida and Hawaii and included the bride's grandparents, Dan and Marie Clausen.
Special music was provided by Steve Adams, who played the Scottish bagpipes.
The couple honeymooned at the Loon Lake Resort. They plan to make their home in Hilo, Hawaii.
