School supply lists

The following are school supply lists available as of the Clarion’s deadline.

Additional lists often can be found posted on school building doors, at area stores or online on the school’s Web site.

Parents are reminded that individual teachers may ask for additional supplies.

Check with your child’s school.

These items are for individual use. Put your child’s name on each item with permanent marker.

Crayons and markers, one package of each, at least 8, no more than 16

Materials to help students organize and manage paper, handouts, assignments, etc.

Pencils — Maintain a sufficient supply so students will have several sharpened pencils on hand at any time (mechanical pencils are OK)

Pens — Several of varying colors (black, red).

Scissors — Pointed Fiskars recommended (label)

1 1-gallon Ziploc bag (or small box) to hold pencils, pens, erasers and other sundries.

12-inch ruler, flexible and transparent are preferred

Floppy disks, writable CDs, or memory stick for saving and transferring computer files.
