ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A woman was in critical condition following an accident involving a city bus, police said.
Sunday's accident was the second serious one involving a city bus in two days.
A teen-age boy died Sunday following an accident Saturday that also left a second teen-ager in critical condition.
Johnny J. Jackson, 37, was charged with felony hit and run in Sunday's accident.
Police said he was driving when his car struck a black Dodge Dynasty traveling south on Lake Otis Parkway near Abbott Road. That propelled the Dodge across the center line and into a city bus going the opposite direction.
The woman driving the Dodge was taken to Providence Alaska Medical Center where she was in critical condition. She was not identified.
Nolan Houle, 16, died as the result of injuries sustained in Saturday's accident.
A bus struck the car he was riding in at the O'Malley Road on-ramp to the Seward Highway when the car turned in front of the bus. Caroline Noel, 15, was critically injured.
