FAIRBANKS (AP) Voters will have choices in all the upcoming borough elections in Fairbanks.

Three people have filed to run for Fairbanks North Star Borough mayor. Incumbent Rhonda Boyles faces state Rep. Jim Whitaker and Mark Ames, a past assembly candidate who threw his hat in the ring late Tuesday.

Voters will also be deciding assembly and school board elections. Ten candidates have filed for the three assembly seats that are up for election this year, and five people have filed for two school board seats.
