Due to a composing error, the Mini Page normally featured in the Peninsula Clarion's Sunday paper was inadvertently omitted.
The Mini Page will be included in Monday's Clarion.
The Clarion regrets the error.
Nominating petitions available
Nominating petitions for the Oct. 5 regular city of Kenai election are available until Monday at the city clerk's office at 210 Fidalgo Ave. Seats up for election are the mayor and two council members.

Safe Sitter course offered
Central Peninsula General Hospital will hold a Safe Sitter class from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Participants must be at least 11 years old at the time of class and be preregistered.

Celtic program scheduled
An Croi Irish Heart, a celebration of the celtic spirit in song, dance and drama, will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church, Mile .25 of the Kenai Spur Highway in Soldotna.

Head Start accepting applications
Sterling Head Start is accepting applications for the school year. It is open Tuesday through Friday and offers two classes: a class from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and a class from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Children ages 3 to 5 are eligible. Children must be age 3 by Sept. 1.

Fox Island cruise fund-raiser set
Kenai Peninsula United Way will hold a Kenai Fjords Fox Island Cruise fund-raiser at 2 p.m. Sept. 12 in Seward. The cost is $50 per person and includes the afternoon cruise to Fox Island and dinner.
