History: The Kaleidoscope School of Arts and Sciences is a charter school born out of two magnet classrooms at Sears Elementary School, which piloted during the 2003-04 school year and will open this fall. The school will integrate art, music and science activities into all subjects in an effort to provide hands-on, comprehensive education to students in kindergarten through second grade. It will be housed at Sears Elementary School in Kenai.
