Appreciating free speech

I enjoy reading all the opinions and letters to the Clarion. I agree with some and disagree with others. That said I am proud to live in a country that allows free speech and assembly.
We Americans sometimes get lost in the day to day issue in life, but we should never forget how fortunate we are. God help us if we ever loose the rights to free speech and assembly.
But freedom isn't free unless we continue to protect free speech and the pursuit of happiness.
God Bless America, home of the free and land of the brave.
