Lindsey Wahl and Bryan Rhodes were married in an evening ceremony June 12, 2010, at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center. Brian Wodarek, brother of the bride, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Kathy Haen, of Delta Junction, and Jeff and Leslie Wahl, of Kenai. She is a 2001, graduate of Kenai Central High School and is employed as a senior teller at Credit Union 1.
Lindsey wore a strapless satin pick-up gown with a chapel-length train and carried a bouquet of voodoo roses, calla lilies, orchids and bear grass wrapped at the base with fuschia and orange ribbon. Sister of the bride, Sarah Sargeant, served as the maid of honor a wore a tangerine strapless chiffon dress. Attending to the bride were Julia Horstman and Holly Riggins, and both wore tangerine chiffon and charmeuse dresses.
The groom is the son of Robin Salt of Kenai. He attended Ketchikan High School and is employed as a Fire and Gas Field Technician with Engineered Fire and Safety. He wore a white tuxedo. Kris Watkins, the best man, he wore black tuxedo. Groomsmen included Mike Bradley and Lou Ouldhouse, who both wore black tuxedos.
The reception was held at the center. The cake was three-tiered with white fondant covered in orange and fuschia sugar flowers.
The couple plan to honeymoon in Maui in November.
They make their home in Kenai.
