Soldotna and Heritage Place resident Audrey Springer died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at Central Peninsula General Hospital. She was 81.
At the family's request, no services are planned.
Mrs. Springer was born Sept. 29, 1923, in Oakland, Calif., to William and Amelia Harper. She lived in Anchorage from 1951 to 1972, working for the Department of Fish and Game and as a bookkeeper for many years. She moved to South Lake Tahoe and then to Aurburn, Calif., She returned to Soldotna in 1998 to be close to her daughter and her family.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Adrienne and Don Goforth; and grandson, Bryan Goforth, all of Soldotna; granddaughter, Chrissy Morrison and her husband, Jay, of Nikiski; great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Tyler Morrison, both of Nikiski; and many relatives outside Alaska.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
