Ward's action keeps saving Nikiski Fire Department money

Posted: Tuesday, August 17, 2004

Somebody asked the other day: What has Jerry Ward done while he was in office?

Jerry obtained $500,000 to upgrade the emergency bypass, escape route between Holt Lamplight and Marathon Road, so that the Nikiski Fire Department would not have to budget $10,000 a year to maintain the route. The Nikiski Fire Department has spent close to $100,000 on maintaining the escape route since it was not built to borough road specifications.

Jerry continues saving the Nikiski Fire Department $10,000 a year, and Jerry is not even back in the Senate. I encourage everybody on the Kenai to vote for Jerry Ward on Aug. 24, so that he will have the opportunity to save us all more money.
