ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Martha Stewart, the maven of good living, is bringing her production team to the Yukon and southeast Alaska, where she will fish, hike and make sourdough waffles with starter that came over the Chilkoot Trail 100 years ago.

During her visit to the Yukon and Alaska, Stewart will be filming an episode of her daily syndicated television program, Martha Stewart Living. Segments will be taped in Ketchikan and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Stewart also will drive the Klondike Highway, take a sled dog ride and learn how to smoke Alaskan salmon.

Her visit is being hosted by Tourism North, a marketing group funded by Alaska, the Yukon, British Columbia, the city of Prince Rupert and Alberta. Additional support is coming from Alaskan and Canadian tourism agencies.
