Kenai resident Jacey Drake Eddy died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at his home in Kenai. He was almost 2 years old.
Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Friday at Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai. Pastor Earl Moore will officiate. Burial will follow services at the Kenai City Cemetery.
Jacey Drake Eddy was born Aug. 23, 1998, in Soldotna. He attended the Grace Brethren Church in Kenai with his family.
The Eddy family wrote, "My lost little love went away too soon and took all of our hearts with him. We'll miss his cuddles, his smiles and his laughter. May you always laugh deep, my little peaches and cream boy."
The Ticknor family wrote, "Jacey -- so gentle and loving you are. The flower of kindness, an embrace from afar."
The Waters family wrote, "Jacey, our bright and happy boy. We only had you for a short time, but you will ever be in our hearts. Rest well, sweet boy. We'll see you in the morning."
He is survived by his mother, Gretchen Anna Eddy of Beaverton, Ore., and his father Timothy A. Ticknor, of Kenai; brothers Dezmond Song Ticknor and Timothy Arthur Ticknor; grandparents Barbara Eddy, Michael Wagner, Henry Stickles, George and Barbara Ticknor, and Arthur and Barbara Waters; great-grandparents Duane Eddy, Richard Eddy, Pauline Wagner, Harold Wagner and Charlotte Ticknor; great-aunt, Rita Kincade and great-uncle, Ricki Eddy, and family friend Jennifer Waters.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Little Lost Angels in remembrance of Jacey Eddy, 40594-11 Sterling Highway, Soldotna, AK 99669.
