I do not support POMV plan.

The permanent fund has been working fine for almost 25 years. I look at the POMV as a way for the Legislature to get their hands on the fund balance. The people of Alaska have voted not to touch the permanent fund and as a legislator, I will not vote to use one cent of the fund.

I support spending cap; state spending is completely out of control.

I do not support any new taxes or fee increases.

I support responsible state funding of all programs.

Education: Our young people need the best education that can be offered both academically and vocationally. Not all young people will chose college and the ones that chose to enter the work place should have some sort of knowledge as to how to work.

Public Safety: The Alaska State Troopers should be the best in the nation.

Transportation: I support no closing of any DOT stations. The public needs to be assured that the roads will be maintained both summer and winter.

I support in state natural gas pipeline with tidewater terminal in Kenai.

I am against abortion of almost any kind. There will always be medical conditions where the need for an abortion will be necessary but it should not be used as a birth control method. With all the different types of birth control measures available, there should be no reason for anyone to get pregnant that does not want to.

I am against gay marriage, The Constitution of the state of Alaska states that marriage is between a man and a woman and I see no reason to change that.
