Many hands benefit center

The Soldotna Senior Center would like to thank all of the volunteers that worked tirelessly during the center’s summer bazaar, bake sale, Endowment Fund barbecue and areawide quilt show. The bazaar, bake sale and barbecue were a great success.

Another thank you to Lore Weimer for the gorgeous quilt she made and donated to the center to raffle. Also, thank you to all of the quilters that displayed their beautiful quilts and to the volunteers that set up and managed the quilt show. The quilts were very appreciated and enjoyed by the community.

We would like to also thank all of the volunteers that worked and rode on the center’s float for Progress Days. Your outstanding work earned the first place ribbon for organizational floats. A special thank you to the Alaska Young Marines, Soldotna Sports Center, Peninsula Clarion, KSRM, KWJG and KBAY for their support.

Thank you all again. We truly appreciate it.
