Volunteers help make golf tourney a swinging success

Posted: Monday, August 21, 2006

Over the past weekend (Aug. 6), the Kenai Chrysler Golf Tournament was in full swing and the Kenai Chamber of Commerce rallied volunteers to help with spotting golf balls on the course. We could not have done this without the volunteers, and as luck would have it, it was a beautiful day to be out on the Kenai Golf Course.

On behalf of the Kenai chamber, we would like to thank Jason Steen, Buzz Rome, Stan Pitlo, Jim Bradford, Cliff Vaught, Penny Stewart, Mary Joe Jorner, Carol Brenkle, Pat Porter, Shanon Hamrick, Stacie Krause, Leah Rigall, Andy Anderson, Carol Freas, Marion Nelson, Jerry Carlson, Dale Sandalh, Craig Jung, Amanda Feagin, Jim Bradford, Joe Gallager, Brenda Ahlberg, Barbara Olson, Bill Popp, Nicole Popp, Kamichia Spisak, Buzz Rome, Dwight Kramer, Dennis Swarner, Rick Cupp, Elder Peterson, Elder Young, Elder Rod Fisher, Elder Robert Platou and Cliff Vaught.

Also, Kenai Chrysler Center and all of those who work hard to bring this event to the city of Kenai, to coordinate the pros, golfers and logistics. This is another event that promotes the city’s community and businesses.
