ANCHORAGE (AP) Anchorage police arrested a man after he reportedly pulled a gun on officers who tried to serve him with court papers.
Adrian Troy Abrams, 36, is charged with two counts of assault.
Abrams pointed the weapon at an officer Tuesday night after police tried to serve him with a domestic violence restraining order at an East Anchorage apartment, according to police.
More than a dozen officers and SWAT team members responded and the area was blocked off for two hours before Abrams was coaxed out of the home, police said.
Abrams, who has a long criminal history, faces up to five years in prison and a $50,000 fine for each of the assault charges.
