ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A Juneau girl was killed Wednesday night in a vehicle accident on the Glenn Highway east of Glennallen.

Krista Hulse, 17, died of massive head injuries after her car left the roadway and rolled several times down an embankment, Alaska State Troopers said.

Her passenger, Victoria Butler, 17, also of Juneau, was not injured.

Troopers said it appears the vehicle was traveling well in excess of the posted speed. Investigators said neither girl was wearing a seatbelt.
