Juneau girl killed in Glenn Highway fatal

Posted: Friday, August 25, 2000

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A Juneau teenager was killed Wednesday night in a vehicle rollover on the Glenn Highway east of Glennallen, Alaska State Troopers said.

Krista Hulse, 17, died of massive head injuries after her car left the roadway and rolled several times down an embankment, troopers said. Her passenger, 17-year-old Victoria Butler, also of Juneau, was not injured.

Troopers said it appears the vehicle was traveling well in excess of the posted speed. Investigators said neither girl was wearing a seatbelt.
