Heather L. Davis of Soldotna and Kevin R. Bross of Oklahoma City, Okla., were married in a private ceremony on Sunday, July 29, 2001, at Exit Glacier in Seward.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Rebecca Davis and John and Diane Bush, all of Soldotna. She wore an ivory, vintage lace gown and the same beaded headpiece worn by her sister Michelle Burnett in her wedding two weeks earlier.
Michelle also was Heather's matron of honor and photographer.
The groom is the son of Fred and Andrea Bross and Albert and Debbie Pierce, all of Oklahoma. He was dressed formally and wore a matching tie and suspenders with a soccer ball design.
Brian DeVall was the best man.
Receptions will be held in Oklahoma City and Soldotna at later dates.
Heather is a 1999 Skyview High School graduate and attended Southern Oregon University and now attends the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she is majoring in paralegal studies and criminal justice. She is employed as a paralegal at the law office of Terrance W. Hall in Fairbanks.
Kevin graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City and attended Rose State University before enlisting in the Army. He is stationed at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, where he works as a medic in the base hospital emergency room. Kevin also participates in multiple soccer clubs and helps coach youth soccer leagues.
The couple lives in Fairbanks and plans to take a southern Caribbean cruise in April.
