“Dear Zachary, we feel sad, for we have lost you. We feel happy, for what we have had with you. We feel poor, for the empty spaces that you once had filled. We feel rich, for all you have taught each one of us. We will cry, because we miss you daily. We will laugh, for the memories abound. We will hurt, for the love we can’t give you. We will rejoice, for the love we have received from you. We will be restless, for our lives are not whole. We will be peaceful, for we know it is not forever. We love you, Buddie,” his family wrote.
Zachary was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Patricia McKenzie and Linda Witt.
