Tributes to officer, judge appreciated

Posted: Friday, August 27, 2004

The Clarion has the most excellent articles on the Opinion and Letters to the Editor page on Aug. 10, one of which was honoring Kenai Officer John Watson, who was killed in line of duty. What a wonderful tribute to a man who loved God.

Then the enlightening letter from John Parker (thank you) about Judge Young on sentencing the shoe bomb terrorist. We certainly do need more judges like Young who are not afraid to speak for all the people from the U.S.A.

These two articles reminded me what I am on this earth here for, you made my day, and I thank you.
