Kaladi Brothers Coffee Company opened a new shop on Monday located at 44350 Sterling Hwy. suite B, near Peninsula Center Mall in Soldotna.
Store manager Amy White said already she is seeing faces she's never seen at Kaladi's other location. White said the store has a smaller, more intimate feel to it.
The new shop will include the same menu items as the Kobuk Street store, such as bagels, baked goods and of course coffee.
White said a community room will be open in the shop in the near future. Customers can sign up for the room in the shop and reserve it for meetings or parties free of charge, White said. Complimentary Wi-Fi will also be available soon.
White, who has been the manager for the past three years, began her Kaladi's career as a barista 10 years ago. White said she enjoys the challenge of being store manager and working with people. "There's always something interesting going on," she said.
White said the plan to open the shop at the new location began in May. The coffee shop will be open year-round and the Kobuk Street location will remain open too.
