Medley, Graham wed in Kenai

Mercy Medley and Eric Graham (Serrano) of Kenai were married Sunday, July 20, 2003, at Leif Hansen Memorial Park in Kenai. Rick Mollard officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Alex Medley of Soldotna and Hilda Flores of Boise, Idaho. She attended Soldotna Middle and High schools and graduated from Kenai Alternative High School in 1999. She works at Wells Fargo Bank in Kenai. In the ceremony she wore a white strapless gown and carried stargazers and summer flowers.

The groom is the son of Karen of Kenai and Frank Serrano of Bakersfield, Calif. He works for Inlet Drilling.

The maid of honor was Michelle Medley, sister of the bride. Amy Cutsforth, Somer Dyer, Erin Wilbert, Louisa Dalton and Corrina Thomas were the bridesmaids. They and the maid of honor wore dark purple and black gowns with silver flower embroidery and carried single stargazer lilies.

The flower girls were Mariah and Mahlia Graham, the couple's daughters.

Frank Serrano, father of the groom, was the best man. Robert Medley and Rolland Medley were the ushers and Raymond Graham, Dave Spann and Jesus Bravo were the groomsmen.

A reception was held at the Eagles Club in Kenai. Melanie Long made the wedding cake, and Michelle Turinsky, Zita Spann and Ona Wilbert assisted with the reception.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Mexico this winter and will reside in Kenai to be close to family.
