PALMER (AP) -- A moderate earthquake shook portions of Southcentral Alaska late Thursday, but there were no reports of any damage or injuries.
The Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.9, and was centered 65 miles northwest of Talkeetna.
The quake occurred at 10:05 p.m., and was felt at Willow, Wasilla, Palmer, Anchorage and a number of other communities around Southcentral, the center said.
