River City Wild Cheerleaders have a lot to cheer about

Posted: Sunday, September 05, 2010

On July 17, the River City Wild Cheerleaders held their first Annual Disc Golf tournament. Our community showed its support for these young ladies not only by donating everything from coffee cards to a full spa day, they also came out in big style to play in the event! We like to refer to all of our sponsors as Cheer Champions! The RCC cheerleaders would like to send out a big thank you to those "wild" Cheer Champions who helped make this a huge success.

Our "Wildest" hole sponsors; Stanley Ford and Doors and Windows! The "Wilder" team sponsors, are CPGH, Sedona Florist, Scotts Floor Covering, Hey Goodlooking, Peninsula Powersports, Pro Seal, Scott Construction, Ace Automotive and Team Eagle. Thank you to our "Wild" sponsors who generously donated everything from door prizes to team prizes! Ross Baxter, KSRM, Doors & Windows, Ellis Automotive, Stanley Ford, Sweeney's, Dan's TV, Arby's, Soldotna Y Chevron, Dr.Koliscius, Dr. Koob, Pye Wackets, Nancy A. Mitchell, Mugz Coffee, AK Trading & Loan, Trustworthy Hardware, Dale Dolifka, ATTY, Jen's Perfect Ten, Kenai River Festival, Columbia Paint, Trustworthy Hardware, Hair Stop, Phormation, Summit Cleaners, The Hair Force, Curves, Renewal Skin Care, SBS, Mugz and River City Books.

All funds raised at this tournament will be used for travel expenses for both National competition in Hawaii as well as in state competition throughout the season. We are proud to live in such a generous community and we thank you for helping our goals become a reality! We couldn't do it without your support!
