Sponsors, volunteers, community helped contest sing

Posted: Tuesday, September 06, 2005

Sue Gill with the Alaska Hairlines, the Peninsula Center Mall merchants and Glen and Becky Martin would like to thank the contestants, judges, volunteers and wonderful community sponsors for making the non-profit, second annual "Sing For the Heart" contest a huge success. This event could not have happened without their participation and teamwork.

To all contestants, thank you for entering the contest, stepping out of your comfort zone to compete. You were all so talented!

Thank you for sharing a piece of your heart with everyone.

To our wonderful community for all your support and encouragement to this event it makes us so proud!

This summer's weekly event has been extremely enjoyable for all who participated. To all the volunteers who willingly gave up their time and talent to make this show outstanding, the judges, M.C. and behind the scenes support. Your sacrifices helped this season's event to be a great success.
