FAIRBANKS (AP) -- A former employee of the Boys and Girls Club of Tanana Valley has been sentenced to serve two years in prison for sexual abuse.
Emmanuel Pacheco, 28, was indicted in May on two counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
Police said the 14-year-old victim told investigators she had sex with Pacheco several times last year, including once in the basement of the club's facility on Cushman Street in Fairbanks.
Pacheco pleaded no contest to one count of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor. He was fired soon after the allegations were reported.
On Wednesday, Superior Court Judge Charles Pengilly sentenced Pacheco to four years with two years suspended.
