Teen writers sought

The Clarion is seeking students from the Nikiski, Kenai, Skyview and Soldotna high schools interested in writing for its Verbatim column. The column is designed to let teens voice their opinions on topics of interest to them — school, family life, dating, politics, etc. Verbatim will be printed in the Wednesday’s Schools section.

Students in grades nine through 12 are eligible to submit a writing sample. Column length is 500 words minimum, 700 maximum.

Send a writing sample to schools@peninsulaclarion.com. For more information, call 335-1241 or e-mail schools@peninsulaclarion.com.
