The Homer football team defeated Seward 52-0 in Homer Saturday.
Senior running back David Drake led the Mariners on the ground with 244 yards on 33 carries and three touchdowns.
Jake Fraley, Homer's junior quarterback, tossed two touchdown passes to seniors Steven Stead and Adam Crum, and Crum returned an interception from Seward signal caller Ryan Gardner 32 yards for another touchdown.
The Mariners scored a safety in the third period when Jonah Swiderski stepped out of his own end zone with 3:34 left in the quarter. Homer converted four out of six 2-point conversions.
