The 15th annual Skyview Cross Country Invitational was held on Aug. 28 with 28 teams and over 800 runners competing. This is one of the largest competitive high school events in the state. Many volunteers donated their time and effort. The staff thanks Tsalteshi Trails and the following people who helped: Bob Jones, Mark Berezin, Renee Merkes, John Andrews, Erin Lockewood, Harry Lockewood, Pat Johnson, Betty Miller, Pat King, Robin Nyce, Bill Holt, Kent Peterson, Kyle Gauthier, Paul Zobeck, Charolette Harvey, Rusty Miller, Mark Larson, Bob Ermold and John Pothast. The invitational was a huge success and could not have been possible without their help. What a great way to start out the school year.

On Thursday, the Skyview volleyball team will host Juneau.

Homecoming week begins Monday.
